USB HDD Recording

USB HDD Recording lets you easily record onto an external USB HDD. Simply connect a cable between VIERA's USB terminal and the USB terminal of the USB HDD. Recordings can be easily controlled using VIERA's remote control. You can record your favourite TV series, films and other content on to the USB HDD. Rewind Live TV lets you to rewind a live TV programme to catch the scenes you want to see, so you won't miss the important moments.

• Analogue TV programmes cannot be recorded to the USB HDD.
• Not all the programmes can be recorded depending on the broadcaster and service provider.
• When the TV is repaired due to a malfunction, you may have to format the USB HDD again with the TV to use it. (All data will be erased when formatting.)
• In order to use the USB HDD with your PC after recording with this TV, format it again on your PC. (Special operations or tools may be necessary to format on your PC. For details, refer to the manual of the USB HDD.)
• The data recorded to the USB HDD with this TV can only be played back on this TV. You cannot playback the data on other TVs (including the TV of the same model number) or any PCs.

USB Connection

Equipped with a USB terminal, VIERA makes it easy to connect a PC and view your stored photos and videos on the big full-HD screen. Likewise, you can listen to stored music through VIERA's outstanding sound system. As with the VIERA Image Viewer, you can take advantage of a variety of easy-to-use functions, such as slide shows and thumbnail displays. ARC (Audio Return Channel)

Using a single HDMI cable, VIERA can output the audio portion of a TV broadcast to your home cinema system, so you can enjoy full-fledged surround sound. You no longer need two cables to connect VIERA to a home cinema system.

Standby Power Save
